About Kristi Richards

A full-time Realtor since 2008, Kristi Richard's diverse background has set an ideal stage for her career as a full-time real estate professional.

Kristi spent much of her earlier adult life traveling the world as the business and marketing manager to a professional magician, simultaneously filling the role of magician's assistant.

Working a residency at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas (that included a record-breaking 9,000 performances) before transitioning to a cruise ship residency allowed Kristi to experience many different cultures and prepared her to interact and work with many kinds of people.

Prior to her work in the entertainment industry, Kristi received her bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Stephen F. Austin University and thrived in several roles involving sales and communication.

After concluding that chapter, life's natural progression led Kristi to real estate. A self-proclaimed "professional socializer", Kristi counts communication, openness, and availability among her best traits.

Within 2 years Kristi was a top producer at Zip Realty in Las Vegas, earning a spot in the coveted Presidents Club alongside the cities best agents.

A native Texan, Kristi decided it was time to move back to the state, choosing Austin as her new homestead in 2012. Kristi didn't miss a beat and continued to earn multiple Top Producer, President’s Club, and Circle of Excellence awards and she acquired her broker’s license in 2019.

In 2021, Kristi and her partner James, moved down to North Padre Island to enjoy a slower pace that island life offers. She is also an owner of Paradise Cart Rentals in Port Aransas.

Kristi prides herself on providing constant and open communication to her clients and has assisted all variants of clients including first-time homebuyers, sellers, re-locators, distressed homeowners in need of a short sale, as well as savvy investors.

She enjoys educating her clients during their real estate transactions and making sure they understand each facet of the process.

Overcoming real estate hurdles and problem-solving are among some of the most exciting aspects of real estate for Kristi, topped only by the satisfaction of knowing she's found a client the perfect home.

Her negotiation skills, experience, and competitive nature ensure her clients always get the best deal possible when crossing a transaction's finish line.

When Kristi isn't practicing real estate, she enjoys a myriad of different activities. An avid tennis player, she has participated in several tennis leagues over the last 15 years. She and James enjoy taking their boat out for fishing and canal cruising, country two-stepping and taking their dog Stormy for runs on the beach.
